Amigos Training

Training is a key component to the Amigos Program.  It is important that our chapter volunteers are well prepared before they venture off to Latin America.  Training sessions are held twice a month.  They cover such topics as: the Amigos Mission and Purpose,  Cultural Sensitivity, Communication, Health and Safety, Project Development, Teamwork, Classroom Management, and much more.  Our two Amigos Retreats  during the year also give the Salt Lake volunteers opportunities to extend their preparations and bond with each other.
